Bangkok, Thailand — A proud international achievement has been earned by a lecturer from the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSA) Program at Thai-Nichi International College (TNIC), Bangkok, Thailand. Aj. Aulia Akhrian Syahidi was awarded the Best Presentation Award in Session 3 (onsite session) under the theme “Intelligent Agents and AI-Powered Personalized Support” at the prestigious 14th IEEE International Conference on Information and Education Technology (ICIET) 2026.

The conference took place from April 17-19, 2026, at the Koriyama City Chuo Community Learning Center in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Organized by Nihon University in collaboration with IEEE, the event gathered more than 200 researchers and academics from around the world, focusing on the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and educational technology.

During the conference, Aj. Syahidi presented two research papers highlighting cutting-edge applications of AI in education:

1 – “Stress-Aware Feedback Generation with LLMs: Evaluating Linguistic and Affective Alignment from a Simulated Dataset of Student Stress Responses”

2 – “Personalized Learning Activity Recommendations Through Learning Analytics and GPT-4: A Study on Assignment Log Data from Google Classroom”

These studies explore the development of AI-driven systems to support adaptive and personalized learning experiences, particularly through the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) and learning analytics. The research emphasizes how AI can better understand student conditions and provide more contextual, responsive educational support.

The participation of Aj. Syahidi in this conference was supported and funded by the international conference funding program of Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology.

The Best Presentation Award recognizes excellence in presentation delivery, scientific contribution, and the relevance of research to current trends in AI-powered educational innovation.

Both papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and indexed in Scopus, ensuring global visibility and contributing to the broader academic community.

This achievement further strengthens the international presence of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Program at Thai-Nichi International College, especially in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Learning Analytics, and Educational Technology.

It also reflects the institution’s ongoing commitment to advancing impactful research and innovation in the digital education era.
